In the elaboration of equality plans and strategic plans approach to apply gender and LGTBI+ perspective in sport, it is essential to analyze the starting point -strengths and resources- and the identification of discrimination -direct or indirect - due to gender or sexual orientation. The Observatory for Diversity (ADI), an institution that has a record of incidents because of their gender identity or expression, their sexual orientation, or living with HIV, periodically produces reports that show existing institutional transphobia and LGTBIphobia.

Following the path for equality and diversity in sports, identifying the needs and demands of each organization in terms of a gender perspective and LGTBI + in the sports world is essential. This fact allows the development of specific and personalized lines of intervention intending to advance in the implementation of a gender perspective and LGTBI+ perspective in municipal sports policies or sports organizations.
