The action plan of the municipal sports services of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, elaborated in the municipal political context and linked to the 2030 agenda, is the key to developing a quality strategic process.
Given the context experienced in recent years, the evolution of the city's sports associations, and the vision of transforming facilities towards sustainability and technology, the City Council of l'Hospitalet de Llobregat needed to develop a strategic process and an action plan for physical activity and sport in municipal sports services.
Itik consulting sport & leisure has overseen the development of this study. The first part involved a review, analysis and knowledge of the municipality's sports system based on the processing of quantitative and qualitative data and interviews with municipal personnel. This procedure led to the second part of the study, in which a diagnosis was elaborated that enabled 11 key opportunities to be identified, which led to the definition of 5 strategic lines with a specific objective for 2030, and their respective action programmes.
The development of this project has broken with the tendency to draw up long-term strategic plans with very generalist actions, adapting to the current reality.
